Hmm .. Nice.. But what’s so innovative about this ? I think I have seen them before on one of the metasearch sites.

Look forward to see something more innovative from cleartrip soon.

Actually, we haven’t seen anything like Cleartrip Graphs on any other site. We’ve seen plenty of graphs that draw a single line to show you the cheapest fares, but nothing that lets you compare multiple airlines over a range of dates.

    Hrush,

That would indeed be a cool feature for all, right from the passenger to the statisticians/analysts. Although similar to the calendar but is an easy view to strike out the preferred option.

I wonder why couldnt you guys think of it earlier. By the way, if I may ask, how long did it take to implement this idea?

just proves my suspicion that spicejet has some algo which not only takes care of their own sold tickets; but also the price of of other airline tickets while deciding ticket rates. If you search any month; spicejet’s worm is almost always lowest!

Malik–it took us a little under two weeks to launch this.

When developing products, sometimes it’s not just about having the idea, it’s also finding the time to implement the idea. As you can imagine, there’s lots of ideas and not enough time to do them all.
