As of yesterday, you can make payments on Cleartrip through SBI (State Bank of India) debit cards. To pay with your SBI debit card, click the ‘Pay by Debit Card’ tab while making your payment and then select SBI as the issuing bank in the dropdown menu.
In addition to SBI, debit cards from the following banks are also accepted on Cleartrip:
- Axis Bank (formerly UTI)
- HDFC
- ICICI
- Karur Vyasa
there is no card verification no. on the sbi debit card( as required by cleartrip). then how can ppl book a flight ticket using this card??
naseer–the CVV number is required to protect you and all our other customers from fraudulent transactions. You could try requesting SBI for a new debit card, that should come with a CVV number.
Naseer, is your debit card a Maestro card? Maestro cards issued by SBI (without CVV number) will not work on our site currently.

SUBHABRATA MITRA–please select the "Pay by Debit Card" option on the left side to pay with your SBI debit card. If you’re paying with a credit card, just enter your card details and continue, you do not need to specify SBI while paying with your credit card.
SBI Maestro Card Number contain 19 digits. hence the last 3 digits can function as CVV

Vivek–if you’re just starting out, try CCAvenue or BillDesk, their products will give you a lot of payment options through a single integration point.

Athar, if your SBI ATM-cum-debit card is a Maestro card (instead of a MasterCard of VISA) it will not work.

In the verification there is a place when we are asked regarding the expiry date of the card. On the SBI debit card it is mentioned the valid from date and not the expiry date. So exactly how do i go through this procedure. If aomeone could help — please.

You need to have an IPIN to transact with your debit card online. If you have an SBI debit card, please note that only Visa/Master debit cards will work on Cleartrip — Maestro debit cards will NOT work.

Every SBI Debit card don’t have CVV number.
Only Debit Cards like Yuva, Vishesh, Gold International have cvv.

You need a "3D Secure Password" for using SBI Debit/ATM Card for online shopping
but
