RSS in plain English Hrush
At Cleartrip, we love RSS–it’s a great way for customers to easily get updates for data and content that interests them. Having said that, worldwide awareness of RSS and its benefits is quite low, so we thought we’d help out a little by highlighting this great video. If RSS is new to you, this video does a fantastic job of explaining what RSS is and how you can use it efficiently.
Cleartrip launched travel RSS feeds last year with feeds available for flights, hotels, the Cleartrip Blog and our customer forums. More details for all of Cleartrip’s RSS feeds are available at:

Our flights and hotel data feeds are a great way to keep on top of airfares and hotel rates. Both feeds also support additional search parameters which make it easy to target exactly the content you’re after.

I wonder if you track the ‘hits’ on your RSS feeds and include them in your Web Analytics. After all, that is basically someone accessing your data even if its not a page view.
I know several companies who simply ignore this factor.
We track usage of our RSS through analytics tools and Google’s Webmaster Tools
