First things first–apologies for the radio silence on our blog lately. We’ve been hard at work on knocking our priorities into shape. The world turned topsy-turvy last year; and we seized the opportunity to take a few steps back and look at what everything we were creating.
We found that we were knocking a lot of things out there and some of the innovation was great–an “availability calendar for Indian Railways,” a “chat based search for trains” and a few more things that are available only internally at this time.
But more importantly, we found that some products were stagnating. When revenues from a product grow to a certain size, it’s easy to lull yourself into thinking that those products are “mature” or “saturated” enough that you can stop pouring your passion and energy into them. We just weren’t putting enough energy into pushing the envelope with our existing products.
We think that’s wrong. We believe that continually pouring passion into your products is key to having a successful potion. Spit and polish isn’t an “option,” it’s a priority.
So, here’s letting you know that we have some awesome touches releasing across the board over the next couple of months. Hopefully, you won’t even notice most of the changes, you’ll just feel more satisfied every time you use our stuff; we’re big fans of “being invisible”:.
We’ll be piping up regularly on the blog with updates. If you have some spit and polish requests for us, let us know in the comments.

Welcome back!

so what’s the story with the travel industry today? are the airlines and OTAs playing nice or is there still trouble in paradise? any new travel trends worth talking about?
Hi
Recently I found out that I had booked myself on a morning flight instead of an evening one. Needless to say, I missed the flight. In fact, I did not even know I had booked the wrong flight until I pulled out the printout to check the exact flight timing.
Suggestion : Protect people like me from myself. Before charging my credit card, show me what I am finally booking (itinerary) and then ask me "click to pay"
