Unable to post a new topic on the Forums for some reason. Wrote through 'Tell us what you think' pointing the same but got no response. Hence using this forum to share a problem with your train booking system. Some days back I had booked 2 train tickets from Mumbai to Ahmedabad. 3A tickets with seat preferences. During the train journey, I was told by the TC that I had been auto-upgraded to 2A. So had to move all my luggage a few hours I was settled and the new seats were in two different ends of the 2A bogie. So it was quite painful. Shouldn't the user be made aware that his ticket may be auto-upgraded without his/her permission? The IRCTC website allows you to uncheck the auto-upgrade option and there should be a provision for the same on Cleartrip.
