Matthew Spacie is a legend

The Queen of England has decided to give our very own Matthew Spacie a very special fortieth birthday gift -- Matthew will be conferred with the coveted Member of the British Empire. The MBE is a British order of chivalry and was established by King George V to recognise outstanding contributions by citizens of the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth realms.

Matthew's MBE recognises the outstanding contribution he has made to bettering the lives of Mumbai's underprivileged street children through Magic Bus, the charity Matthew founded in 1999. Matthew and Magic Bus have successfully transformed the lives of thousands of children living on Mumbai's streets, reaching out to them through the medium of sport and putting them through training programs, which ensure that these children are given a future where none existed for them before.

Over 5,000 children are enrolled annually in Magic Bus programs. Matthew, Magic Bus's 100 employees and over 240 volunteers work tremendously hard everyday to give Mumbai's children a better life and a better future.

You can help too. Visit www.magicbusindia.org to donate to this cause, to enrol yourself as a volunteer or to find about more about Magic Bus and spread the word.

Congratulations, Matthew, you've made the world a better place. We're very proud of you. It is an honour and a privilege for each of us to be working side-by-side with you.

Matthew, I have just read the above. Congragulations - it sounds well deserved.
