Route maps added to Cleartrip's train search

We're happy to announce that Cleartrip's new train search now displays route maps for Indian Railways trains through integration with Google Maps.

Each train's route is marked on the map with a thick line and markers are displayed for the trains starting point and ending point. If you arrive at the route map after conducting a search, the thick line will display the entire train route, while the markers will display the start and end points of your specific search. Clicking on the start or end markers displays an overlay containing train & station details.

Integration with Google maps? Train search other than on irctc.co.in.. ? Wow! Great! However did you get the govt to agree? Did you have to speak with Lalu? :-)

p.s. Booked a ticket on irctc earlier, am going crazy trying to get a refund. They dont pickup their helplines. I am down by 2k for a ticket I cancelled..

Its gr8 integrating google map with train search.
It will be greater if you show arrival/departure date(if journey spans more than 1 day) & time (atleast approx.) at every/key city nodes of the train route.
