Maps in Cleartrip hotel searches
A couple of days ago we pushed a new version of Cleartrip's hotel search -- now when you perform a search and click on a hotel name to see more details, that information pops up in a window on the search results page itself.
Knowing more about a hotel's location is critical in helping you choose the right hotel. To provide more location details, we integrated our hotel data with Google Maps.

There's a few handy things available in the map view:
- Once you open the map for a specific hotel, all other hotels within a 2 kilometre radius are listed as links to the right of the map
- Clicking on any hotel name scrolls the map to the location of that hotel, which is displayed with a blue pin on the map
- This hotel's name, photo, star rating and address are displayed in a bubble over the map
- If the hotel has rooms available for your search, clicking it's name in the bubble lets you see details or book that hotel
- A "reset map" link is available to return the map to the location of your original hotel selection (your original hotel selection is always marked with a red pin)
All of Google Maps' great tools are also available. You can zoom the map, drag it around to explore the location as well as view map, satellite or hybrid versions of the location.
We hope you like the new addition to Cleartrip's hotel search. We love it as it makes zeroing in on the right hotel easier--finding the best located hotel shouldn't be like finding a needle in a haystack and we're doing our best to make it simple.
