The RESTafarian's guide to HTTP status codes

At Cleartrip, we love the guiding principles and constraints of the REST architecture--scale and simplicity made easy. Those familiar with REST will know that HTTP is a core building block of the architecture. Mastering the ins and outs of HTTP as a transport is critical to building truly RESTful applications. Knowing your way around the maze of HTTP status codes is the first step towards taming the beast.

Alan Dean has created a fantastic diagram to help navigate the HTTP status code labyrinth.

Alan has made multiple versions of the diagram available in a variety of different formats under the terms of the Creative Commons license. Get it, print it, frame it. This is one of the most useful resources around for newbie or veteran RESTafarians alike.
