Once in a lifetime

When the clocks struck 03:04:05 early this morning, the time and date read out a very special sequence:

03:04:05 06-07-08

This won't happen again in your lifetime, ever.

The location included in cleartrip.com home page had unknown cities, Bombay, Calcutta, Madras. I guess they should be Mumbai, Kolkatta, Chennai. There may be more cities which I have not noticed

nuk, Bombay, Calcutta, Madras, Bangalooru are the city alias names for those who still like to use old city names. If you look through, you would also find the city names Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bangalore in the 'From' drop down and 'To' text suggestion list.

@Hrush - Yeah, it wont happen in my lifetime again, but I will see an equally special time in around 12-13 months

So what's the big deal? :-)

@nuk - C'mon nuk, they are not 'unknown' cities. I have known Bombay for a longer time than I have known Mumbai.

I'm just glad you're doing dates the way we know it...

Last year, Hindustan Times ran a front-page story on a similar special date... a palindrome, I think it was...
Except they were following the MM/DD/YY system.. and Delhi was confused for a good three hours.
